For the first time in the history of the Nonino Prize, the 44^th edition is dedicated to Vidia Naipaul – President of the Nonino Prize from 2008 to 2018 – and to Ermanno Olmi – member of the Jury and President of the Nonino Prize from 2006 to 2007 – who both died in 2018.
