Tonino Guerra
Scriptwriter of international reputation (who tied his name to some of the most celebrated Federico Fellini’s movies) narrator of great expressive sensibility, for years Tonino Guerra has been writing poems in the dialect of his birthplace, Sant’Arcangelo di Romagna. With the “bu”, “Il miele”, “La capanna” and “Il viaggio”, Guerra has obtained the acknowledgement of the most expert critics, from Gianfranco Contini to Dante Isella. His poetry, with extraordinarily human accents confirms an admirable loyalty to his roots and to the most genuine sources of inspiration.
