Giuseppe Dell’Acqua
A psychiatrist and a writer, since the earliest times he has fought with Franco Basaglia the long and dangerous battle that led first to the transformation and then to the closing of mental hospitals, a fundamental reform for the defense of the elementary human rights of people for long time ignored or rejected in their suffering. He is the author of several texts on mental diseases, which range from strict scientific essays to real stories, at the same time clinical documents and novels about difficult lives.
