The commission of the Nonino Risit d’Aur Prize has decided with unanimous agreement to award the Gold Vine Shoot to the Mayor of Prepotto, as the representative of a community devoted, with care and passion, to the cultivation of the grapevine and to the production, valorization and safeguard of ancient Friulian vine varieties, among which, in particular, Schioppettino; acknowledging that those vine-growers contributed to keep the rural civilization of their town alive and intact.
