THE NONINO PRIZE BECOMES BIENNIAL AND MORE INTERNATIONAL: A NEW ERA FOR EXCELLENCE

Starting in 2026, the Nonino Prize will become biennial and more international, further strengthening its symbolic and cultural significance.
This decision—taken in continuity with and in honor of Benito Nonino—stems from the desire to give the Prize more time for listening, observation, and maturation, in full coherence with the principles that have always guided the Nonino family and the Company (named World’s Best Distillery, Spirit Brand/Distillery of the Year in San Francisco in 2020).

The new biennial format will allow the Prize to further expand its international reach, with events and dialogues organized at leading institutions in major European capitals and around the world, beginning in Paris in 2026. These occasions will serve as moments of international exchange and communication with members of the jury and Prize recipients, offering opportunities to explore themes related to respect for the land and for humankind in a constantly evolving world.

The next edition of the Nonino Prize will take place on 30 January 2027 at the Nonino Distilleries in Ronchi di Percoto, in the province of Udine.
